Essential Requirements: Previous Gardener experience, experience using landscaping tools and machinery.A private Estate based near Reading is looking for an experienced Gardener to join a close-knit Grounds Maintenance Team. The ideal candidate should have a background in horticulture or ground maintenance with an eye for detail and a love for the outdoors.
As part of the Grounds Maintenance team, you will be instrumental in maintaining the beauty and high existing standards of the gardens. The role involves a variety of tasks from general garden maintenance to more detailed projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform a range of ground maintenance tasks including lawn care, fine pruning, landscaping, seasonal planting and detailed work in the estate greenhouse.
• Operate and respect equipment safely and efficiently. Training will be provided to ensure safe handling.
• Working as part of a hard-working and passionate team, maintaining existing high standards.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, contributing to a safe working environment. Training will be given.The Ideal Candidate:
• Possess experience in horticulture and other related fields.
• Proficient and confident in using a variety of landscaping tools and machinery.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively as an individual and as part of a team.
• Possess good interpersonal skills.
• Flexible and willing to engage in extended hours during certain seasons.Start Date ASAP. Salary £25,000 per annum. A three-month probationary period to be served by a successful candidate. (CC4241)
